Review Nokia N900, Sebuah Komputer Mini

Bahkan di iklan Nokia, tertulis bukan PDA, bukan smartphone, bukan ponsel, melainkan Touchscreen Mobile Computer dengan kecepatan tinggi, performa luar biasa, user friendly dan beragam aplikasi tersedia. Apakah Nokia N900 ini sehebat yang digembar gemborkan oleh Nokia?

- Bermesinkan sistem operasi Linux dikemas menjadi nama Maemo, serta open source maka N900 dengan mudah menyita hati jutaan orang dengan membuat N900 sulit dibedakan dengan kemampuan sebuah komputer bersistem operasi Linux. Beruntung sekali jika Anda sudah mengenal Linux. Jika belum apakah N900 menjadi perangkat yang harus dihindari orang gaptek? Tidak. Disinilah kelebihan N900, UI yang dihadirkan begitu sederhana, malah cenderung cantik dengan hadirnya multiple desktop wallpaper.

- Papan qwerty juga tersedia jika on screen keyboard tidak cocok untuk anda.

- Stereo speaker ketika menjalankan beberapa sound effect game terasa kaya di sebuah arena

- Carl Zeiss 5MPix autofocus, saya tak kenal dia tapi kamera buatannya selalu mengagumkan

- Accelerometer Nokia mengagumkan, beberapa game tersedia jika Anda penasaran dengan sensitivitasnya

- TV out dan FM transmitter, memang ciri khas ponsel seri N Nokia

- X-terminal, doyan linux pasti doyan ini

Kesimpulan:

Sebuah kesimpulan yang sulit bagi Anda, sebagian sudah ingin jual ponsel yang ada di tangan Anda, sebagian bahkan langsung lari ke Nokia Shop karena menurut kabar N900 sudah dijual di Jakarta. Anda akan tidak tenang jika sudah membaca review ini namun tidak memiliki N900  Sebuah keputusan berani oleh Nokia yang selama ini terkenal dengan symbian minded, dan menciptakan mesin linux yang opensource. Yang terjadi adalah kemungkinan tak terbatas, seperti menjadikan stick PS3 atau Nintendo wii sebagai kontroller N900 ataupun aplikasi bagi admin IT tersedia begitu leluasa. Jadi tak salah jika Nokia menyebut ini adalah komputer bukan sekedar ponsel biasa.
